Founded by Kathy English-Brower in 2001, The Filmmakers Guide to South Africa has just published its 10th range of annuals.

Over 60 000 books have been distributed to more than 25 countries, making The Filmmakers Guide to South Africa the most recognised, established and representative brand marketing the South African film industry locally and internationally.

The Filmmakers Guide to South Africa provides an overview of the various industry sectors and South Africa as a whole.

The second book in the range, Creative Showcase, is focused on South Africa`s visual talent: directors, cinematographers, photographers, animators and VFX artists, among others.

The range is part of Film & Event Publishing, which won the Imbongi Award in 2010 for Marketing Cape Town and the Western Cape's Film Industry. Film & Event Publishing also creates The Callsheet and The Event, the most read monthly trade publications for the film and events industries respectively.
